Critique my choices please...

OK, all you Disney dining gurus, please tell me if I made some good choices. We have never eaten at any of these restaurants (except 1900 PF), as this will only be our second WDW stay. BTW, we have two kids, 11 and 8, who are fairly adventurous diners.

Tuesday, Nov 10: arrive at AKV Kidani - ADR for dinner at Boma.

Wednesday, Nov 11: day at Animal Kingdom then transfer to BLT - ADR for dinner at The Wave.

Thursday, Nov 12: ADR for Character Breakfast at 1900 Park Fare.

Friday, Nov 13: EPCOT all day, ADR for dinner at Chefs de France.

On our previous visit, we have eaten at Artist Point, Teppan Edo, Cinderella character dinner at 1900 Park Fare, Tony's Town Square Restaurant, and Whispering Canyon Cafe.

I really enjoyed Boma

Our whole family loves 1900PF breakfast

We haven't tried Chefs or the Wave.

Good for you, we like trying all new things on our WDW trips, too! (Except Boma, that is our version of your 1900 PF. We are about to go on our 3rd trip, and Boma for dinner is the only place we will have gone on every trip -- guess that tells ya how I feel about that choice! )

I haven't tried the other 2, but the Wave gets consistently fantastic reviews (unlike just about every other restaurant at WDW, I don't think I've read ONE bad one!) As for Chefs, my friend did not care for what she ordered when she went, but you might see Remy, so who cares? JK, I'm sure there are some great menu items.

Have a blast working your way to every restaurant at WDW someday!

We love Boma. We did it for our first night too and it was a great way to start off the trip.

The only other one we have tried is Chefs. It had always been on my to-do list, but I had trouble fitting it in. Last trip, we walked up a lunch time, and poof - they could seat us! I was excited, but it wasn't all that great. I think the best thing was the children's cheese pastry appetizer (which my daughter wouldn't touch, but my husband and I scarfed down). Anyway, the meal wasn't bad, but it wasn't that good either. I would try it again, but it's not at the top of my list. Lots of people love it, though, so go with an open mind, and tell your kids to try that cheese pastry thing.

We've never done 1900 for breakfast because the characters don't appeal to us. We did enjoy our dinner there.

We also haven't tried the Wave, but I've heard (or read) good things about it.

Funny; my son wouldn't touch that cheese puff thing either! And he loves cheese. I'm lactose intolerant and my dh wasn't too hungry, so it was a loss on us, I'm afraid. My son LOVED his meal (fish) and my husband and I loved ours; in fact, I think it was my favorite meal. Hard to choose. We had a lot of great meals. Just got back. Was there 10/20-30.

Solid choices! Save room for dessert at Boma!

I would switch to somewhere else in Epcot. I thought Les Chefs was sub par to most of my other Disney dining experiences.

It is pretty darn sad when a valet picks you out as a big Boma eater

The only one I like is The Wave, the food is always fantastic and you get great service.

At the other three we thought the food was horrible and the service was terrible
