Would you keep Biergarten ADR if you were going to Germany 6 months later?

Our family is going to Germany in June to visit one of our good friends. We'll be in Frankfurt for three days, going down the Romantic Road to see the castles, especially Neushwanstein, then to Munich for a couple of days.

Spending that much time in Germany makes me feel like we should opt for something different for our meal in Epcot, but I'm torn, b/c I'd like to check it out and it seems like fun for the family.

i dunno what to do.

We will be eating at Tutto and Akershus B'fast the same week.

What fun! You will get to go to the "real thing". When I was in college, my boyfriend was so happy that he had been to the real Germany and not the pretend countries in Busch Gardens.

You could keep your ADR and do a "compare and contrast".
Or, do something different, like Morraco. I think different would be better.

Your trip to Germany on the Romantic Road will be fabulous.

I would keep the plan. You can use it as a "teaser" for the trip in June, the food is fairly authentic and I would speak with the castmembers about your trip and ask for some suggestions.

I'd keep it. It will get you in the mood for your upcoming trip. The servers like to chat about their home country.

I used to live in Germany and I love to go to the Biergarten in Epcot. It reminds me of a little biergarten that was a few doors down from my apartment.

Have a great trip--Germany is a wonderful place to visit.

oh good!!

ok, then i'll keep it. i didn't even think about talking to the people who work there. my DD will get a kick out of that.

i hyped our germany trip so much to her that when i told her we were going to disney for christmas, she said, "are we still going to see the real castles in germany?". um, yes. lol

i may have over-hyped... or um.. uber-hyped!

Biergarten and Germany will be two totally different things. Germany was amazing! I say keep Biergarten...then you can giggle when you see how everything is so Americanized when you compare it to the real deal.

Neusweinstein was breathtaking..wow!!

Sure, it's not like Biergarten is all that authentic.

i am wanting to try new restaurants this time around. boma is our only repeat.

i've done morocco, and i love that type of food, but it was one of my least favorites our last time. i do love tangierine cafe, though! we also had le cellier last time.. which was great.

i'd like to try something in france, but my dd6 will not enjoy it. i also thought about rose & crown, but beirgarten was our choice b/c it sounded like fun.

we live in atlanta, and eat asian all the time. so we opted out of chinese and japanese, even though we'll probably stop at a cart during one of our two or three epcot days. lol

i hate making choices.

I would keep it. My DH is always in Germany with the AF and he thinks the food at Biergarten is better than any food he has had in Germany. When he comes back home from Germany he is always like man that buffet at Disney is good. Enjoy

I would definitely do the compare/contrast thing. Talking to the wait staff will be cool too.
