Fun Nintendo DS games for little girls
Anyone have any really fun games that can be played 2-player? My mom is wanting to know which games she should get my dd's and we were thinking it might be nice to get them each the same game that they could play wirelessly. I know they have single-card download games, but this time I'm looking for one that they each would have their own game card (single-player ones have limitations on the games a lot of times).
Thanks!

You might want to try Animal Crossing for DS. It would require each girl to have her own copy of the game, allowing for single play mode and has the option of using the wireless DS to DS connection to allow visitors to their town. They can then run around together on either of the game systems, share items that they acquire, etc.

Just went and researched that, and that is exactly the kind of game I was looking for! Thank you so much!! Now off to Target to see if they have it in stock (crossing fingers),

Mario Cart! I know it doesn't seem girly, but when dd is in the hospital, we could play it for hours if I let us. Lots of different levels, different characters to race as, etc. I think you could play 200 times without ever duplicating things exactly.

Yea, I was originally going to get them Mario Kart.. but then saw where some people on here were saying that with that one, using the single-card download feature, the 2nd player always was stuck playing the same character. So thinking that dd's would always be fighting about who got to be the "primary" player, lol. But definitely thinking about getting that as a family game for the Wii.. would be a lot of fun!

I vote for Animal Crossing. DH and I play that for hours. I also like Pokemon. Raising them is fun then DH and I battle. If you play enough then you can get the National Pokedex and take advantage of the special TRU events to get special ones. We love doing that.

I like Pokemon as well, but I tend to hate letting mine evolve for the most part as the little ones are often so cute. (Love Pichu, Pikachu, Squirtle, Eevee, Vulpix, etc.) Also, I like the earlier games (Gameboy) a lot more when you still had the original characters. I actually refuse to get the DSi because you can't play Gameboy Advance games on it and my daughter feels the same way.

Ugh, back from Target, and they didn't have it... didn't even have a space for it... was hoping I could use my coupon for there.
Checked Gamestop also, and they have the Wild World version, but only used ones, and would prefer not to get used. Can anyone tell me what the main differences between Wild World and City Folk are? Have looked at the animal crossing site and gone through all the tutorials, etc.. seem very similar, but was wondering what the differences were.. might help me make up my mind which one dd's would like better. Thanks! |

My girls love the build a bear game. They are able to "send" pictures of their bears using the two player version. I think they can also play games together but they have not tried.

So do they each need a copy of the game?
