Dining room servers on the Wonder?

We are still in touch with a dining room server on the Magic, who we have had on two cruises. Since we're booked on the Wonder in a few weeks, I sent him an email to see if he knew any of the servers on the Wonder. He recommended either Balvan or George from India.

Has anyone ever had either of these servers? If so, what was your experience?

He is an excellent server and I do trust his judgment, but he hasn't worked with them in a while and I'm just looking for personal experiences.

Thanks.

We haven't had either of those servers but we just got off a B2B and had Mladen from Bosnia on both. He did an excellent job.

If they are on board....head server Ali is super. Server "Princess Judy" is a total hoot. She's efficient and a lot of fun. And don't call her just plain "Judy," it is always "Princess Judy."

OMG I love Judy! We had her August of one year and then again the following April and she remembered our whole group! I learned all about her family and her life back home!! I loved that she was not stuffy in the least and she always made us laugh!

Do either of you know where she is from, or her full name? If I don't get any responses about the two servers in the original post, I may request her.

Thanks.

Did you know?

I did not know this till our last cruise in Sept., [our 7th], that the servers are divided up in 3 named groups on the Wonder. they are: the L. A. group the Orlando group and the third group I believe are called the Paris group.

Interesting little fact. I wonder (no pun intended) if it has something to do with which head server they report to? There are at least 6 head servers on each ship, so that would mean two per named group.

She's in Palo now. We had her back in March for Palo and saw her again on our B2B last week when we did Palo Brunch. She did a great job! Definitely one of the more spirited servers we've seen on DCL.

Thanks for the info. I guess I won't be requesting her (unless I can figure out a way to eat at Palo every night)

This past Sept. cruise, I believe we had 3 head servers with our L. A. group.
