Just thought I'd let you know. I was at Michaels today and in their "stocking stuffer" clearance section they have chipboard books. They are brownish in color but in different shapes...a flower, a bird, square etc. They would make really neat covers for autograph books, or even put paper on them and have the characters sign them. They are quite sturdy and have 5 pages together . They are clipped together with a metal ring. Best of all... 10 cents each! yep that is all!

Realized as I started working on a book in Arts Cow because he's the character that my daughter is dying to see. She's saved up over $100 already to buy him and as many outfits as she can.
Thanks! He was in the master list in post #2, but not in the broken-down list later in the thread. I don't know what happened there, but thank you for pointing it out. It is now fixed. I'm totally blaming "Mommy Amnesia" for that one!

Thanks fo the tip! Hmmm, I've never considered doing a "shaped" autograph book... it would make a really cool keepsake!

That cost me $6 including shipping. I put them in order and included some pics of DD from our last trip with characters, and then took it to staples to have binded, bound,,,, you know what I mean. Cost at Staples was $3.73. (that may be cheap, my friend did it for me, and may have given me a deal, I didn't ask) So just around $10.00 all together, and I am very happy with how it turned out. Thanks for everyone's help!!

What size are the pictures that you ordered from snapfish?

I just wanted to say thank you so much for the instructions and all the wonderful DISigns! I made my DD an autograph book last night on shutterfly. Well, I made one on about 3 different sites to compare prices and coupon codes. Let's say I wasted a little too much time . I included space next to each picture for a photo of DD w/ each character.

I can honestly say now that I know how much time goes into making all the images/autograph pages. I found 2 missing in the style that I liked so I made them myself. I spent a loooong time figuring out how to layer images. So thank you all for providing all of these!! I just thought I'd share in case anyone wanted to use them. These are following the style of DoNatalie's volume 2. If I'm crossing any lines and they need to be removed, please let me know.

Lotso:

Oso:

They are nowhere near as perfect as DoNatalie's, but they'll do they job. My 2 yr old won't notice

And here's a link to my book:

Total was $22.80, satin cover, including 20% off code and free shipping.

Thanks again!!!

I have a question regarding artscow. I am trying to make an 8x8 photo book with pictures from our last vacation. I am trying to also include some clip art and disigns that I have. When I use something other than a photo, I get a little triangle that appears with a message stating "DPI = 100 (not good for printing) 300 or above is recommended". Has anyone else ever seen this? Is it ok to use these images? Will they come out ok? Thank you.

Thanks for sharing the pics of your photobook Shleedogg, very cute! I've been debating doing the same thing.

Surprised to see it in an 8.5 x 11 though. I got an email from Shutterfly a few weeks ago saying that they had discontinued that size and any of the albums I had already made that way would have to be changed. I was a little disappointed because all of my albums through them were 8.5 x 11. Maybe I can find a way!!

4x6, and they need to be matte finish. Sharpie markers work best with them. Let know if you have any questions.

You can take a chance with these images, but they will probabaly come out either blurry or grainy. They will print, but the quality won't be good.

I just wanted to thank everyone for this thread and the pictures I was able to use. I printed (well, I had them printed) today at Rite Aid and they came out awesome. I still need to do one more set for my other daughter. Also, I don't even need to ask for a cover for the autograph book because my girls names (Rachel and Alyssa) were already done by others who had asked in the past. Thanks so much!!! We leave on Monday and my girls don't know about the trip yet. I can't wait to surprise them with these autograph books!
