30 min unlimited play in resort arcade - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi all... we received our vouchers for our trip in Dec. and I was wondering if you are able to purchase another 30 min unlimited play card since the voucher is only good for 1 per room.

I belive you buy them inside the arcade itself.

There are vending machines where you purchase the refillable arcade cards in the arcades.

Just know that the 30 minute arcade card is not valid for any of the games that give out tickets for prizes (if that matters to you).

and just a warning......I had a very very hard time getting the machines to scan and accept my sons voucher. out of the 30 minutes, I probably spent 15 or more minutes scanning the voucher! I was going to say something, but decided not to...I was done w/the arcade

He played 4 games, but could have played more.

Was that the paper voucher or the plastic card? I still have the plastic card one that came with my package in April and the paper one that came with my package in August - so I'm just curious.

That's good to know! I'll be sure I go with him then as opposed to letting him go alone. thanks for the heads up!

It was a paper voucher that came with my travel documents. It had a barcode right on it. I tried sweeping it every which way, and it wasn't wrinkled at all!

We, too, had an awful time getting our paper voucher to scan. Over and oveer and over...sliding and swiping...it took at least six tries before any "took". Out of the 30 minutes, we played maybe six or seven games and finally gave up. It wasn't worth the frustration.

Thanks guys!! Bummer about the paper vouchers... Maybe I'll just buy the kiddos the refillable cards and give DH the voucher. That'll keep him busy with them while I'll shop...

Actually the cards are non-transferable and they expire on the day you check-out.
