What will you celebrate? - First Visit
I am looking over our dining reservations. Pulled up the "what will you celebrate's" drop down menu. There is an option for "first visit."
If I choose that, will they do anything special? What should I expect? This is our first visit.

You may or may not get a First Visit button on check in. If it is not given to you automatically, ask the CM for it at check in. You will get well wishes, but that is about it, most likely.
We visited last week and I noted on our reservation that it was our 40th Wedding Anniversary and DS 33rd birthday. We did not get anything special at all, including birthday or anniversary buttons. It was okay because I knew not to expect anything special. We had a wonderful week and enjoyed every minute. So if you get something beyond a well wish to you be surprised.

We were in the World last week, and it was my DBF's first visit. They gave him a pin at check-in, but he didn't get anything special (didn't really expect anything either). I made notes on all of our ADRs and a couple of the greeters commented to him "What took you so long to visit us?", but that was it.

On our first visit, the kids got 1st visit buttons and the characters noticed and pointed it out all week. CM's asked all week if they were having fun on their first visit. It was really special for them and also a great momento!

DS and DD had their first visit in Sept. They got buttons at checkin and only once got a cupcake to celebrate, I think at 'Ohana dinner. DD only wore the button for a little bit one day, she didn't like wearing it and DS was too young, so not sure if they had it would have been more noticed.

"Welcome to Disney World" is about all you should expect.
