It will vary greatly from reservation to reservation. If they have a room available, they will give it to you right away. I've checked in at 10am before and gotten a room.

Other times, you will check in early and not get the room until 4. It really does depend on what's going on at the time, and impossible to predict.

We've been members for several years and use our points about twice a year. We have NEVER been able to check in before 4:00 on any of our DVC points stays.

What day are you checking in? After two straight months of daily calls to ask about ANY 2br dedicated on the 8th, I'm a bit resigned to waiting until later on the day for a room when we check on on the 9th. I'm hoping for a bit of pixie dust since it's my and my sister's birthday, but I'm not holding my breath.

We checked in at SSR around 1:00 PM and our room was ready at 6:00 PM. They said that they were having problems, but they did give us a balloon.

Usually we get our rooms around 4:00.

We got our room once right away. It is going to depend on when the guests staying before you checked out and when housekeeping got around to cleaning it.

We stayed in August (only 3 days after opening) and our room was ready when we checked in at 7:30 am.

I think it had something to do with the resort not being full yet, but it was really really nice!!!!

You mean it was ready at check in time which I thought was 4pm. So why the sad face. Anything earlier than check in time is After all check out is not till 11am and they need time to clean.

We have only had a few stays but have had room ready by noon or 1 pm.

Check in is AFTER 4PM, so you may need to be ready to not get your villa until after 4PM - maybe even as late as 5:30PM.

Yellowstone was amazing and is a lot more inviting than Disney right now. Could we be selling it all in the near future? Maybe.

I checked in last sunday at 12pm, they had 1 on 7th and 1 on 10th floor, so of course I took the 10th fl. room which was ready. Did the online checkin earlier, so overall, waited 5 min.

we were able to check into a dedicated 2bed on Oct. 19th at noon. Our request for a high floor was not available so we decided to get a lower floor so we could get in early. I was very happy to be on the second floor with LV.

I checked in at 11am on OCT 29th and there were multiple rooms ready, in fact the CM moved me to a higher room. Friends who were travelling with us checked in an hour later and got a room right away as well.

It's purely random and there's no set pattern. Earlier in the week we checked into AKL at 9 am, and got a text at 1130 that the room was ready.

I'd say that was lucky!!! No need to post a sad face when you actually got in by check in time. Now if you had said 6 pm, then I'd say I'd have a sad face too. In actuality, the check in time is "AFTER 4:00PM", so it does kind of cover them when they are a bit late.
