Can your brain actually melt?

I'm home with a sick kid and for the last three days I've been watching a steady diet of Dora, Wonder Pets, Oobi, Oliva, etc....

I think my brain cells are actually melting

What melts your brain?

Oh thank God my kids are not little. I think I am grateful I only escaped with Barney and Teletubbies.

What melts my brain? Just being tired. I am not a night owl so don't try and talk to be about last minute stuff after 9pm. It does not compute.

Possibly. My DD just got sick this morning with a 103.7 temp, so we're going through that now. She just fell asleep to Dora's Chrystal Kingdom movie on NickJr. When her fever breaks, I got to take her to the drug store and get her some more Children's Tylenol. She just used the last dose and we need eggs. They cost more, but I'm only taking a sick kid to one store. Easy in and out. My husband is in Florida on business, so there's no help.

Ackkkkkk!

Hope she feels better soon!

We're on the tail end of this one...croup this time. We've been fever free now for about 18 hours.

Sesame Street, Maury show, those kid shows on Nick.
I think I may be watching them, I went to wake my son up and he is feeling feverish. I don't want to take him to school

When I was on maternity leave, I kept watching TLC. I don't know why.

with my kids-chowderand some of the other gross shows that appeal to preadolescent boys.

Yes, I believe it can. However, it does bounce back eventually to an extent.

My DD was on the couch after surgery last year for 7 weeks -- I do believe I memorized every single Spongebob episode....it was a LONG 7 weeks. 24/7 days of Spongebob except when the tutor was here. She had a hard time getting comfortable to sleep, so she would play episodes on the computer (I had to sleep downstairs near her -- NOT fun...basically I got Spongebob 24/7 & no sleep for 7 weeks).

I survived Barney, Teletubbies and the Wiggles.

You too shall survive, but the mental scars will never go away.
