dvd poser

hey folks, how about this for a poser. with the price of a film on your hotel tv, what if i bought a cheap dvd player at wal-mart and brought a few of my own films? do hotel tvs have the appropriate scart sockets or connections. you can pick up dvd players in the uk for next to nothing. surely, wal-mart sell cheap ones too? id offset the price of hiring films with the hotel, twice over at least. and the maid would have a great tip, dont you think!!!!!!!

"you can pick up dvd players in the uk for next to nothing."

Can't remember if Region would be different, but the plugs certainly would be.

What about a laptop; are you bringing one? Can it play DVDs?

What resort are you staying in? Do the resorts at WDW even have movies to rent like that as an option?

I'll let someone else answer about the TV capabilities...

If you buy a DVD player in the USA, it will have "RCA plug" Audio and Video outputs.

The WDW resort room TV's do have matching "RCA plug" Audio and Video inputs.

DVD players purchased in the USA are "NTSC" (Region 1) and that's the only kind of DVD's
that they will play.
