Pina Colada Slushie at Entrance to World Showcase - The DIS Discussion Forums

When we were at Disney, I got a pina colada slushie from a stand near the entrance to World Showcase (coming from Future World). It was absolutely disgusting. I am used to the ones you get from 7-11 or other fast food places but this one had no sweetness at all. It was extremely bitter. I tried to drink it but thought it might be spoiled and threw it out. It was hot so we didn't want to walk back to the stand for a refund.

Now that I am thinking about it, I wonder if it had alcohol in it and thats why it was gross to me (I hate anything with alcohol in it). I hadn't thought about it at the time. So can anyone solve the mystery- lolololol. Are these alcoholic or not?

I don't think they do - I've had the strawberry slushie from the same booth and it didn't. I don't drink alcohol either, so I tend to read the signs before buying and I don't recall seeing any slushies at that booth with alcohol (although there are alcoholic slushies at other booths in WS).

If you like Pina Colada slushies, I had a really good non-alcoholic one at FW at the pool snack bar. It was plenty sweet, with lots of coconut and pineapple flavor.
