POP Prefered Pool view room numbers?

Wanting to request a room that I can see the pool out out window.

Last trip, we stayed at AKL, request a pool view and we got a ground floor and not too much of a pool view. Mostly TREES or BUSHES, so I thought I would ASK for a particular room NUMBER. I am thinking I need to be up a floor or two.
ALSO***if there a pool view room that you can also see fireworks from, or am I just dreaming on this one.

Can someone help me out?

For the 60's pool building 4 I know ground floor poolside is numbers 4101 thru 4112 - I'm 99% certain of that! stayed there last spring in that area.

seeing if this link works.....
this is a picture of the building. We were in 4109 and were ground floor under the letter G in the "Dig It"
can be a little noisy at night - we're night owls, so wasn't a problem. but one night had a family till 1 a.m. at a table out front our room.

great VIEW, but I just remebered, DD, 10, wanted the BOWLING BALL as her room's pool.

Looks like 2md, 3rd or 4th CORNER room, might be a good view room.

Then you are going to want to ask for a ground floor, or second floor, room facing the pool in bldgs 1 or 3. Those are the two bldgs that are going to give you the best view of the bowling pin pool.

Even on the second floor - you won't see much of the pool from the resort's room window. The four foot walkway and railing with associated decorative graphics generally block most any view downwards - even if you're standing AT the window.

I had a ground floor room to the right of the giant jukebox in the picture above (building 2). You can see that the window there pretty much points RIGHT up the walkway to the right of the pool. I could see the walkway there quite clearly and while watching TV I could sometimes see the pool with the curtains open

As for requesting a room by number - I wouldn't hold out much hope on that. If the room you request is booked, they have no idea why you selected that room in particular and therefore may just end up sticking you wherever.

I'd suggest you ask for 1) pool view 2) second floor 3) In buildings 1 or 3.

That's probably your best bet.

Just something to keep in mind.
