Fantasmic every night Dec 10-18th Woo Hoo!!

YES !!! I just checked the Disneyworld Park Calendar for the dates of Dec 10-18th, there is a Fantasmic showing every night at 6:30 pm !!!!! Woo Hoo !!!!!

It is nice to see it back the way it used to be when it was showed nightly in years past, this really kept the crowd levels manageable at DHS !!!

I'll be there too

That just means they are expecting higher attendance levels.. Still makes me happy there is more shows for my trip.

Well drat. That means more people, plus we can't go to DHS on a non-F! night now.

I really don't think that it means more crowds !!

It is actually a good thing !! I have been in December the past 8 years & they had Fantasmic every night. I was really worried about this every other night change & was not thrilled at all about it for this year!!

This is GREAT news because this will now even out the crowd levels at DHS & make it more manageable for everyone !! Woo Hoo

When I access Expedia.com & I view Monday thru Friday (excluding weekends) during all 4 weeks of December, here is what I find--

11/30 thru 12/04-- all of Disney hotels are almost completely sold out.

12/7-12/11 (POP Warner week)- also all sold out.

12/14-12/18 (my week- YIPPEE) all hotels are wide open!

12/21-12/25 (Christmas week) all hotels are wide open!

Not necessarily. They added shows the last two week in October and I can tell you that it wasn't because of higher attendance. We saw F! on Wednesday 10/28 which was a day that was added from the original schedule. They didn't even fill the theater . The whole last section opposite the dining package section was empty. I'm not complaining, though. Personally I think they are experimenting with the schedules. Maybe by doing this they are keeping more people at the Studios later - at least enough to make it worth the expense of Fantasmic - or maybe it was just making it too busy when they had fewer shows and had too many complaints.

I completey agree. I have been emailing/complaining to Disneyworld since I have been reading the reviews, so maybe there were listening??

For the past 8 years, they showed it nightly & it was GREAT, the crowds were manageable & no one got trampled!!

Wow. That is very interesting because they still are showing very limited Fantasmic showings for the following week. Fantasmic is dark on both Monday and Wednesday (12/21 and 12/23, and 12/21 there is late EMH).

If you only knew how much this news threw my plans for a loop tonight. While I am sure that it will take the pressure off of the DHS crowds on the nights already planning to show F!, it sort of messed up my plans because I was going on an non-F! night on purpose.

I was able to switch out my DHS day for my Epcot day. We lost Tutto Italia for dinner, but we gained plans to go to enjoy La Cava de Tequila and we are going to try Nine Dragons for dinner, which will be something new for us. Honestly, after looking at the updated menu for Tutto on AllEars.net, I think that losing that ressie is sort of a godsend. Gabby, my partner, is so picky, when I ran the menu past her, she was not too thrilled, so I think that Nine Dragons will be a much better fit.

I hope everyone else totally loves the increased availability of F! nights.

We're going Dec 6-13 so I was happy to see the extra F! added for Dec 11. Just picked up the dining package for it today.

They have one on the 8th, and the pop-warner party is at DHS on the 9th (do they get a special fantasmic show??), so effectively they have a F! show From the 8th to the 18th. That's great to spread out the crowds!!!

Well, I was pleasantly surprised at the availability of ADR's when I checked. Only one of them did I have to say was for a party of four instead of a table for two in order to secure the ADR. (Just a side note, I always feel guilty about doing that, so the waitress always gets an additional $5 tip to cover the missing people.) Anyway, check into it, you never know what you might find.

Ugh! I feel sick to my stomach. I had picked Dec 11 just because it didn't have Fantasmic. All of the planning and strategizing for nothing - great.

I know of which you speak, I was quite literally so upset that I went upstairs and screamed into pillows upon confirming the news that the OP posted. It took me hours to figure out alternative plans, but it all has worked out, hopefully for the better.

This is actually a good thing !!!
Everyone was complaining about the Fantasmic cutbacks & now that they are having them every night (like they had the past 7 Decembers that I have been) you still are not happy?? I just don't get it.

I can say from going the past 7 years to Disneyworld & them having the Fantasmic showings EVERY night during this time frame, that actually made for a better day/week/evening at DHS. You don't have the madhouse of people descending on DHS on select Fantasmic nights & the parks being overly crowded on these nights & all the people complaining of how Magic Kingdom has Wishes, Epcot has Illuminations, & DHS has Fantasmic.

Geez folks, this is a GREAT thing, I actually sent Disneyworld an email earlier thanking them for going back to the way things used to be !!! Allowing Fantasmic to be a nightly enjoyment for everyone & not just select nights.
