First trimester-Did you get the H1n1
Hi, I just found out that I am 5 weeks preg. My office made us get the H1N1 shot since I work in health care. Did anyone else also get the H1n1 around the same time? I am just a little nervous. I understand that everyone has their own opinions about this vaccination. I just wanted to see if anyone else out there is in the same situation and what do you think. My OB said without a doubt any preg woman should get it at any time.

Did you get the FluMist version or the shot. I just returned from taking my sister, who is pregnant, to get the vax and they said that preg women should only get the shot, not the FluMist. If you got the shot, I wouldn't see any reason to be more nervous about the shot then you would be if you were not pregnant.

No one in my area has had it available, but I do have it scheduled for my doctors appointment next week and I'll be 25 weeks pregnant. I'm a teacher and we've had too many kids out sick, so to me it's worth it! I've already had the flu shot and have been exposed to the H1N1 thanks to hubby having it afew weeks back.

It is correct that pregnant women can only get the shot due to the fact that the mist like has a killed version of the virus in it. The shot is totally synthetic, just like a regular seasonal flu shot.
In my area they vaccinated pregnant women first, now have begun school wide clinics for students.
