It's so hard to have times like that. I let it get me down and stopped trying altogether for MONTHS. Do you know (and I'm sure you do) how many days of 90 cents I passed up on by doing that? And it's so hard to get back into it...I think I got 6 surveys last month (and another that didn't credit), 9 the month before...ugh.

Don't give up!!!!

Some tips:

1. Not really SR's fault (or QR, CR or whatever rewards site you use). It is the survey company (I'm guessing Greenfield or AMP). Once you click thru SR it is Greenfield's programming (or AMP) and out of SR's control.

2. Go very very slow. The surveys are on timers. Event that first screen about giving honest answers. Read it like you are a child. If you go faster than the timer it will boot you straight away.

3. Be on the lookout for trick/test questions...like, "Click the box all the way to the right." Or "Regardless of age, choose 39 in the box below." They throw those in to make sure you are reading and answering honestly.

4. Sometimes you just get the boot. They may be looking for a mid-20s single working gal, and the survey taker may be a mid-40s stay at home mom.

5. If you get to the screen it says no more surveys...you can still check back later in the day, they may have loaded more.

6. Always use your same email address & info.

It is worth it in the long run though. Since 2007 I'v made around $1,600 and I do very little shopping. I'd say maybe $150 of that is from shopping.

I've finally decided to throw in the towel with SR. I spent several hours today trying to finish a 90 cent survey with no luck. Cash outs to Paypal now take 6 weeks and more and more merchants are disappearing or lowering their payouts. It's just not worth my time anymore.

Just wanted to throw my positive note out there. I've actually had great success with the surveys. I cashed out for $270 on Oct 31st and I'm up to $18.09 again already (all surveys/freebies). They have some of the highest payouts for the daily surveys and often have AMP increases to $1.00 on weekends. (Granted, I've not looked at every single rewards site out there, I'm sure some may pay more, but from those I've seen, the dailies are a good 30-40 cents more.)

As for merchants...I've read in many blogs they are dropping from alot of places (economy), SR has actually been adding tons of new merchants and have weekly special increases on many.

Paypal: it is the last day of the next month. So depending on when you cash out it could be 6 weeks, but could be 4 (if you cash out Oct 31st, you will have it Nov 30th...). This is to prevent them from paying out money that may get reversed by the advertiser due to fraud.

I understand what you saying and respect your opinion. Just wanted to give another point of view
