Uggghhhhh. The bane of my existence.
1 hour going in 1 - 1.5 hours going home. This is driving. I used to ride the commuter bus, but I changed jobs and it's not available to me now. How I miss the days of just riding, instead of driving.

My office is 110 miles from my house. Mostly over winding two lane roads. So about an hour and a half each way. Three hours if traffic or weather is bad.
The only thing that saves me is I don't go to the office every day. I telecommute several days a week. That is a really short commute - shower, put on clean pajamas and go to the home office!

Mine averages about 40 minute but depends on the weather and construction. There are days I can do it in 20 and if it is really snowy it's taken hours.

I hate you!
Okay, not really but 3 minutes??? I'm extremely jealous!!I have a 2 hour commute in each direction. I hate commuting. It's a part time job. 4 hours a day x 5 days a week = 20 hours each week of my life commuting. The only good thing is that I bought a kindle and I always have something to read. |

If there was any safe way for me to bike to work I would do it as often as possible, even if it took 2 hours each way.

My total commute is 45 minutes to get there, and 25 mintues to get home. Partly because there's way less traffic coming home, and partly because the "getting there" time includes the "driving around looking for a parking space" time.

I have a lovely 6-minute drive, mostly in the country. Occasionally slowed down by a tractor.
