The Pirates League / Has anyone taken their girls? - The DIS Discussion Forums

Just wondering if girls would enjoy this as well as the boys. Also, what kind of makeover do the girls receive? Planning a trip 4/2010 for my niece's 7th birthday and wondered if she might enjoy this. She loves Priates of the Carribbean. Can any one give me 1st hand experience/advice?

I took my DD5 there before we went to MNSSHP last month. I wasn't sure how much she would like since we had done BBB before but she thought it was great. They painted her nails, put makeup on her face, gave her a pirate tattoo, did something to her hair (can't remember what it was but it made it so that it looked nice with the hat on), taught her to sword fight and took her to find treasure. She also got to take the pirate oath and get a pirate name. She picked out the pink pirate costume (which we call the pirate princess) and is wearing it here for Halloween. It was a wonderful experience and she enjoyed it more than BBB. I would highly recommend it.

One daughter would like this the other would think it's too child like even if adults were doing it. They are just different kids but it's kind of expensive

How long does it take? TIA
