Looking For Rice Milk - The DIS Discussion Forums

A friend of mine will be staying at The Dolphin next week and was asking if there was a place on property where you can buy rice milk. I've heard that they serve it in restaurants but I was just wondering if anyone knows where he might be able to find it to buy. Thanks!

When we stayed at POP this past April, we called them a few weeks before our stay and requested that our resort have lactos free milk and they had it waiting in the cafe ( or whatever they call it). I found a number to call Dolphin directly 407-934-4000. Maybe they can help. If worse come to worse we have also visited the Publix in Kissimmee. It is only about 10-15 minutes away ( that was in heavy trafic). He could always take a cab if he had to. I'm sure there are stores closer thatn this, but I know that Publix would have ricemilk for sure.

Plublix has it if you can get a ride there. There is a Winn-Dixie on 192 near the Outback steak house. They have a nice selection of rice products...rice pasta & rice milk. There is a Whole Foods near Universal that should have everything, just google it.

You could also order it to be delivered to the Dolphin before your arrival. Howver that depends whether you use the kind that needs to be kept refrigerated or can be kept on the shelf. I wouldn't want to risk having the fresh stuff hanging around indefinitely in the lobby before you are contacted to inform you it has arrived.

I am also exploring options for dietary specials, but a different kind of allergy. I might just pop over to the Publix near the Premium Mall. We just take a taxi as I don't have a car when we go.

Thank you all for your advice. I called the Dolphin directly and they were nice enough to offer to purchase the rice milk and have it waiting for my friends in their 24 hour cafe/store for purchase. The manager there was so nice and very willing to to help out. Just another example of the magic that is Disney!
