Does anyone else wish Disney had a Starbucks?
Not having my Starbucks fix was the ONLY thing that was missing from my 1st trip this year! *sigh* a girl can dream of baristas with Mickey ears...

It's not that I'm so stuck on Starbucks, but I just wish there were more places for a decent expresso, latte, cappucino etc. other than the sit down restaurants. I love a good cup of coffee as a pick me up in the afternoon but they are very hard to find in the parks!

I don't care about Starbucks but it would be nice if Disney had more good coffee. Dunkin Donuts would be nice!

We all dream of decent coffee in Disney.
That being said they have decent espresso at the bakery in Norway. They grind the beans with each shot, something Starbucks is only starting to do again. Also Kona express in the Poly. There are a handful of others. But for the msot part it is a Nescafe Contract wasteland when it comes to coffee.

While I certainly prefer regular and specialty coffees over Nescafe, I would not want to see WDW get 'gentrified' by adding Starbucks within their parks and resorts. Its bad enough that mom and pop bakeries close down to be replaced by more popular chains. Would hate to come to the Magic Kingdom one day only to see a Dunkin Donuts where Main Street Bakery used to stand. :-)

Nah, I can get a Starbucks pretty much anywhere. I don't mind not being able to get one at the World, there is so much other good stuff. Like the PPs however, I do enjoy a good cup of coffee in the afternoon. I had a good cuppa at the Writer's Stop at DHS last trip, and the coffee bar in Morocco/Epcot looked promising.
My friend and I decided to take an afternoon break and monorail the resorts, while searching for a nice cup of coffee. We ended up with one from Captain Cook's, and it was nasty!

Oh, and I picked up some of those instant coffee stix from Starbucks last time I was there. I travel a lot and it can be very hard to find a decent cup of coffee sometimes. They had samples of the coffee and it was really good! I think it was called Via?

I think that considering the inflated price of McDonalds on property, I would just as soon pay higher prices for things that I cannot get every other day and therefore can live without my Starbucks while at Disney.
Besides for my $5, I can always get a Dole Whip, funnel cake, zebra domes, etc.

I drink 4 espressos a day at home. When I am in Disney I get awful headaches from caffeine withdrawal. Some of us just enjoy really good coffee and this is one place where Disney is really lacking. I can live without Starbucks, I just want good coffee that is easy to find. I do not like being overcharged for brown water. If the only beer at Disney was Narragansett I do not think people would be too happy. This is not any different.

While I don't drink coffee (can't stand the stuff!), my DH is a true coffee lover and drinks a lot of it during the day. We have a grumpy daddy with us at Disney and that is not as much fun! I also wish it was easy to find a good coffee or latte in the parks!

YES!!! Or any good coffee, really. I wouldn't want to see it on Main Street either, but tucked away at the Contemporary or in the USA section at World Showcase would be awesome. What's more contemporary and/or American than Starbucks?

Any decent coffee at the Disney Properties would be welcome. This trip I'm going to bring my own Starbucks or Tim Horton's instant coffee.
