This is awful: Canadian teen folk singer killed by coyotes!

How could this happen. I think her only fault was hiking alone. You should always have a buddy in the woods. It amazes me that women have the courage to hike alone at any time.

I saw that story yesterday. How really tragic and odd. Normally, coyotes are very timid animals.

Wow, that is so horrible. That is so unlike a coyote. Should be interesting to see what the blood tests reveal on the one coyote they did kill.

Unusual for a coyote to attack. Such a sad story. I'll think of her when I hear the coyotes howling tonight.

I love to hike and generally have nobody to go with. I would totally hike alone if there weren't sad stories such as this one to remind me that it's not such a good idea. That is so sad.
