ASMu Food Court

Hi all, I try to limit my simple carb intake when I eat and am trying to figure out how to spend CS and snack credits between breakfast and lunch. Never used the dining plan and never stayed at ASMu before. Can you get basic eggs, bacon, and fruit for breakfast at the ASMu food court? Boiled eggs are my favorite but I'm sure that won't be available...

I don't recall seeing boiled eggs there. We were there in April this year. That is not to say that it can't be done, but you would need to ask first and I suggest doing so at least an hour before you plan to eat - or maybe at the beginning of the day and let them know at what time more or less you are planning on coming back to order your meal. Even if they can accommodate a special request, it really depends a lot on who you speak to and how busy it is.

You will still get the usual bacon, eggs, oatmeal, sausage and fruit. I am a fruit and yogurt person for breakfast and I used to pick up a fruit bowl every morning and just pay the $1.99 for the yogurt. I don't like pastry that much and especially not for breakfast so the ever popular croissant and danish option doesn't suit me.

By the way, I had never stayed at a value before and on the flight had a sudden panic about it ..... it was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!! We loved ASMu! The food court is also pretty good and we found the staff to be very accommodating and friendly.

I agree. We have stayed 3 times in the past 1 1/2 years and found the food court just fine. We were there on the dining plan (free) and the past 2 times we used the Tables in Wonderland card and received the 20% off!! The ASMu has recently been redone and was very clean and fresh when we stayed. I had some doubts staying there, but with free dining and paying rack rate, the Values are the best deal! We also, when we had the free $500 gift card in May, had to pay the rack rate and picked music again!! Actually when we were on the dining plan we did purchase a 6 pack of bagels in the Hotel store and toasted them each morning in the food court.
