Need a recommendation for a nice, reasonable hotel very close to the Swan and Dolphin

Please help me with a suggestion for a nice, reasonable hotel very close to the Swan and Dolphin. I'm having trouble getting POP for the night prior to my existing booking and need some options! TIA

I'd have thought that one of the Downtown Disney properties would be the best solution. It's not exactly close, but then noting really is...

Unless you plan on walking to the Swan and Dolphin I don't see how distance will matter, there are dozens of quality hotels within 5 minutes drive. When you are talking close to Dolphin and Swan do you mean close qualitywise? That is also easy to find, it depends on how much you want to spend.

DTD hotels have some great rates right now. Royal Plaza has rates of $79 plus free upgrade plus free breakfast. Others also have specials

Keep calling pop. Call around 7am and 3pm each day and you will get the extra night.

When switching hotels it always nice to go from one Disney property to another since Disney will switch your luggage. Did you try a moderate like CSR? That way you can secure your room and continue to check back with POP. Good luck!

I'm going to keep trying for POP, apparently Pop Warner cancels rooms starting quite soon. I did check into other rooms and $400-600 is what I'd be looking at and I just can't justify it! Thanks for the tips - I'll just keep trying the website and calling in.

Got a room at POP on the Thursday night, so that hurdle has been crossed and with the best result. I got it on Orbitz which is apparently reputable, so I'm feeling pretty darn good about this! Thanks for all the advice and encouragement.

Royal Plaza is $57 for next 48 hours. This is a great price. We thought it was great when we paid $99 per night.

Have you stayed at this resort before? If so, what did you think?
