Much better ADRS on line than on phone!!

I called (along with the rest of the free world) yesterday, and got about 1/2 of my planned ADRs, none at the EXACT times I wanted and a few not even on the days I had wanted. and of course, the CM sounded cranky and wasn't really interested in going out of her way to help me.... I made what I could and just planned to try later....

Just for the heck of it, I tried today on line--and managed to get the exact times I had wanted at every single place, every single day!! Including CRT and Le Cellier!

anyone else have that experience??

I went online this morning and had absolutely no problems whatsoever getting all my desired times and locatons, including Le Cellier and Chef Mickey's, for Easter Break. Sounds like on-line ressies are the way to go!

I so wish I would have know that yesterday. I also found yesterday to be so frustrating. I was diconnected 2 times and only got a few of my times / dates - CRT was impossible to get they said as was BBB.

Went onlien to day and CRT was available everyday - called(got right through) and BBB was wide open.

What a waste of 4 hours and tons of cell phone minutes on hold yesterday.

What a coincidence! I just posted a question about my breakfast ADR at LTT. I asked for a 10:30 when I booked by phone and was told only a 10:05 was available. I just checked online and it said that 10:35 was available! I was just wondering if, by chance, it wasn't offered to me because it was a lunch ADR but that seems too early for lunch doesn't it?

The key here is "yesterday" vs "today", moreso than "online" vs "phone". Yesterday the entire system was a mess for some reason, even once the homemade "denial of service attack" was shut off.

We have heard similar reports about wide-open availability for those who called in today.

Not wanting to bag on anyone, just don't want to discourage those who prefer to reserve by phone.

Me too! Got everything that the CM was not able to book yesterday, including CRT and Spirit of Aloha! Now as I look back, I can't believe how I wasted the ENTIRE day on the phone....sigh!

I decided to not even try to phone in yesterday even though the online booking was down. I would much rather do it online. That way when your perfect time isn't there you can see all the alternates or try another option.

When I called yesterday, I happened to get what I wanted, when I wanted...I thanked the CM who took alot of time to make sure everything was right..he said thank goodness you didn't want CRT b/c it wasn't even available through April..said it was a problem with the system, but it would be available today. I don't think it was a difference b/t calling or going online..it just wasn't available yesterday for anyone

I sat out the day, and then the next day because of a funeral, and last night managed to get all the ADRs I wanted.

I was shocked, I looked and CRT is open for when we are there on a Saturday! Ended up booking Cape May instead when I saw the price, I am going to wait until DD is a little older before I shell out the big bucks for CRT!

I've done all my ADR business online for our upcoming trip. Had to re-work it a few times because we added members to our party, and I've checked a bunch for cancellations for one particular restaurant. The thought of doing all that over the phone now that I've gone online makes me . SOOO much easier!

I did notice online that a couple of my reservations had better times than what was given over the phone on Tuesday. I just booked them and cancelled the other ones.
