Parades and shows not to be missed for our family?
We are mom & dad traveling with DS10, DD7 & DS4. The kids love fireworks, but I am not as sure about parades and shows. Are there some you would particularly recommend or say that we could miss?
![]() I am a planner and grew up with DL in my backyard, but my children will get this 8/7 trip and hopefully another in 5 or 6 years ... still, we need a vacation too, so I am planning to be a relaxed commando, if that makes sense ![]() We seem to have some dining reservations which are going to be hard to do around some of this. I'll do more changing ... I've done plenty, but I don't want to give up Le Cellier for Electrical Water Pageant (I *know* better than to do *that* )Thanks in advance for your thoughts!

My favorite show is Finding Nemo the Musical at AK. I also love Fantasmic at HS. I would also not miss Spectromagic at MK. This is the only parade I like. All the others I skip and take advantage of the lines being shorter. Hope this helps!

I agree with the PP. Spectromagic in the MK, Fantasmic at DHS and the Finding Nemo Musical at AK are not to be missed. The others are take it or leave it for us.

I'd say one not to miss is Illuminations at Epcot. DBF and I loved this show.
We had an evening reservation at Le Cellier and after we came out from there, we found ourselves a spot outside in the Canadian pavilion and people watched until it was time for the show.

I personally love the new parade at MK. Called Move It! Shake It! Celebrate It! parade & street party (11 a.m., 12:30 & 5:40 p.m.) Its just a fun short parade and the kids get to dance with characters. Its really cute, and high energy!
![]() From Steve Soares: It’s party time when a cast of Disney characters, stilt walkers and other performers process down Main Street, U.S.A. toward Cinderella Castle to high-energy tunes such as “Breakout” and “I Like To Move It.” Floats decked out as gift-wrapped packages are part of the procession, and near the castle, Mad Hatter, Genie, Lumiere and Sebastian – the life and light of the party – pop out of four huge boxes. They join about a dozen other Disney characters headed by Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse to mix and mingle and dance in the street with Magic Kingdom guests during a 12- to 15-minute party that takes place three times daily.
