Commode chairs

I am wondering if someone can help me. We are heading to Walt Disney World in January and I am wondering if anyone can tell me if Pop Centry has a commode chair that fits over the toilet.

There is a link in my signature that goes to the disABILITIES FAQs thread. One of the posts in that thread is about WDW resorts. In that post, you will find a phone number for Special Reservation and you can ask your question there. The resorts will provide things like that on request.

But, you may want to rent one from an off-site company. In post #2 of the disABILITIES FAQs thread, you will find phone numbers and website links for some companies that will rent equipment like that. Renting from off-site will give you more control over what is provided. The companies will deliver and pick up from your resort.
We just got back from WDW and requested an extra shower bench (we were in a room with a roll in shower). What was provided to us was not appropriate. It was only about 14 inches tall. That was too short to be useful, but the think that was disturbing was that the bench was very rickety. It actually swayed when sat on and may have collapsed if someone who really needed it for support was sitting on it. We did make a complaint about it.
I am not sure how well the ones at the resorts are checked and maintained and I think you would get a better product by renting from off-site.

I am going to move this to the disABILITIES Board, which is for WDW related question. It was posted in error on the disABILITIES Community Board, which is more for general disability related questions.
