Whew, the day is almost over, and it seems like the system is finally starting to work more consistently for those calling in.

In 'honor' of the day, we're having a special chat tonight for everyone to come in and share their experiences, and talk about the day and discuss ADRs in general. (Though we never turn away a good food chat, should we get 'off topic'

Chat is from 9-10 Eastern Time, and for everyone who hasn't been to chat yet, it's very easy to navigate there. Just click on "Chat" next to your UserCP and log in with your Dis Id and Password.

I'm rather disgusted with the way this has all unfolded, actually. Disney is not new to this game and must have known the demand that they were likely to be met with today. I expected better than this. I've been trying all day to make reservations online, and I don't want to have to telephone due to the long-distance charges that would involve, particularly to wait for 30+ minutes on hold with no guarantee that the system is going to work when a human actually does pick up the line. Not once has the online system given me even the slightest indication that it might be functioning properly. It certainly doesn't inspire much confidence in me - in fact, the words 'piss-up', 'couldn't' and 'brewery' come to mind.

oh well, the more the merrier

i think Disney bit the bullet and rolled the dice. Last spring it was changed slowly from 180 to 90 and it was painful. This was too, but hopefuly it won't be as long
