Need Help--What site do you use to look up old classmates?

A bunch of us will soon be celebrating our 30th anniversary of college graduation and would like to look up some of the names from the pictures we're sorting through. I don't want to randomly try searches and get on any funky websites and no, I'm not on Facebook Do you have any safe, free, sites we can use to look up addresses? Thanks!

You could try Classmates.com the best thing I found was myspace/facebook though. Zabasearch has a ton of info but it is like the white pages of a teklephone book and not necassarly up to date.

I've had really good luck with FB, I know you didn't want to hear that...

I've found all of my old friends, and some I wish I hadn't found...

Sorry, it was FB for me too. I graduated with a fairly small class (150 maybe) and I've found almost everyone there. The ones I haven't found, I have found relatives!

I have to add another vote for facebook. My class got a better response this year to celebrate our 50th birthdays together than we ever have had for a reunion. They used facebook to find everyone!

I've been one of a small handful of suckers who volunteers to plan our class reunion every 5 years (we all attempted to step down during the last reunion but I think we're lifers, LOL).

Anyway, another one here to give you the answer you didn't want to hear!! We always used classmates in the past but it's definitely FB for now on, many of our classmates are on there, there's already been talk about our 25th and more and more of our classmates are slowly getting on to FB so I think our 25th reunion will be the most successful reunion so far in part thanks to FB because everyone knows about it.

And even with FB you can look up your college and search classmates by graduation year (assuming they listed the college in their profile).

Yeah, for the five minutes I actively maintained a facebook page I was swamped with High School contacts bugging me. And I was about the most reclusive kid in the school. And it was twenty years ago.

classmates.com isn't free for all features.

And I too have been reunited with more people through Facebook. It's safe, it's free.
