ALSO there is a RUMOR over at micechat that indy will be down for refurb early 2010 and they are thinkin feb. i realllly hope to god not thats one of my favs and i cant WAIT to get on it! ill be so so sad will update when i have sure news but as we all know, they dont post things very timely for disneyland which makes it a lil hard to plan- UPDATE- still not seeing it down in february. hoping this is a good sign! please disney dont shut it down! lol

We are planning a february trip as well- in fact we are looking at the same dates you are! My son and I went for our first times ever in June, and e are dyeing to go back! H has never been, so we are thinking of heading down about then!

We are taking our very first trip to DL in February...in fact it's our first trip to California too!

A bit on my background....My husband and I were actually supposed to go to San Diego for my birthday in September. At the last minute we decided to mix in a two day trip to Anaheim. We changed our reservations, rented a car, booked a hotel, we were good to go!...the day of departure came, we were all checked in for our flight, waiting to go and the school called and said our youngest had the flu!!! So we canceled our trip and the airline issued us vouchers for a future flight. My husband and I both decided that it just wasn't meant to be that the two of us should go alone so now we've decided to take our girls and go in Feb. The girls don't know it yet becuz we're waiting to give them the trip as their Christmas presents. We are flying into LAX on Feb. 8 and planning on staying at DL's PP or GC (haven't decided yet...so if you have any input as to which one you prefer, I'll take advice!) Then we're leaving on the 10th and driving to San Diego until the 12th and flying back home from SAN.

I am over the moon for this trip! I've been to WDW 6 times and absolutely love it so I'm thrilled to get to discover DL for the first time. My girls are going to flip out when they find out that we're going....I can hardly contain the secret! My husband is just excited to go somewhere warmer then Minnesota in February....he could care less about Disney (poo - poo...what does he know!). So the trip planning is all mine and I am enjoying every minute of it

oh neat! i bet the kiddos will be sooooooooo happy! ive never stayed on site so i wouldnt have recommendations. i bet you will find a much different feeling at DL than DW. im sure you will fall in love with it!

My son is almost 9. Last time we went we staye at the Ramada Maingate- this time we will probably try to stay at Desert Inn Suites- We are going to be celebrating my 35th b-day which is actually in december...

I'll be there with my daughter Feb 26- Mar 1. We are coming with her cheerleading team, from San Jose. My son goes to college about 10 miles from DLR, so I'm there a few times a year for a weekend. Anyway, we're being forced to stay at the Anabella again. Last year had a horrible experience staying there, so I'm not excited about that.

We arrive from NorCal at 9pm on the 5th and fly home at 6am on the 8th. You'll have a blast ... dont you worry!

We will be there 2/5 to 2/7. In the past that weekend has been nice and slow. We will see how it is this time. We are coming from NorCal also. It will be me, my dd (who will be 13 then) and her friend (who will be 14). They both have January birthdays. It's become our annual belated birthday celebration.
