Our family's favorite character meal was LTT, but we skipped it last Feb cuz it wasn't character anymore. I'd like to go back either way if the food is still as good as it used to be. The menu looks the same on the site. Who's been recently?

LTT is not a character meal anymore, with a temporary exception to this. The exception to this is that from 1/3/10 through 2/14/10 it will again have character meals. The reason for this is that Crystal Palace will be close then for refurbishment and this will fill in for the missing character meals during that time only. Starting 2/15 LTT will go back to not having character meals. The character have been confirmed to be Minnie Mouse, Pluto, and Chip 'n Dale. They will serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all family style during this time so the menu for lunch and dinner will both feature the foods listed for dinner on the allears menu site. Here is the official info I found on the Dis Dining tool bar(?) section up top:
Liberty Tree Tavern hosts character meals again Starting 1/3/2010 Liberty Tree Tavern will be a character dining location for breakfast, lunch, dinner. All meals will be served in an all you care to enjoy family style setting. On 2/15/2010 Liberty Tree Tavern will resume normal operations as a non-character location serving lunch and dinner. This is being done while Crystal Palace is closed for a rehab.

Yes, but only for that time they have the characters Jan 3 - Feb 14, after that it will go back to the menus they currently have and without the characters. So, if you are going back during that time, sounds like you wouldn't like it, but otherwise, you'd be all set cause the lunch will have a menu to order off of as they do at this time.

Ooh, sorry, lol! Just figures, huh? Well, anyway congrats on your one year anniversary, that's awesome!!
I remember, mainly because of your sig wedding pic, reading your trip report. It was a fun report to read! You got married at Disney right? And, you two got that great pic with all the characters at DHS? Hope you two have a wonderful anniversary trip, even if you can't go to LTT!

Aww thanks!! Yeah we celebrated one year this May and yeah we were married in Disney
. Oh yeah we did get that photo! It was an awesome experience.I just looked over the dinner menu at LTT and it sounds pretty good actually..lol. Plus I'm running the half on the 9th, so I think that will be a good meal to eat after a long run. Have you eaten their dinner before? Is it any good? |

Okay, I'm looking at the posts, how did I think you were going for your first anniversary in Jan? Sorry, lol! I guess my mind saw the word anniversary out the corner and made a jump, lol. Oh well, silly me.
Anyway, we were there for the dinner a couple years ago. It was good, my daughter really liked it alot and we are going cause she requested it. And, we are old, well I'm old and DD is 19, but we are still excited for these characters(we love characters!), especially Chip 'n Dale as they are much harder to find! So for us, that part is a bonus. Good luck in that half marathon! I think you'll enjoy this dinner after all that!
