Stroller - Bring my Own, Rent from Disney, Rent from ?

Here is my dilemma:

We are driving to WDW in 4 weeks. We have three kids, 4, 3, and 1 who will need a stroller. The car will be filled to the brim without even bringing any strollers. When we go out around home we either use one double stroller and one single stroller, or just the double stroller and the two older kids take turns walking.

Should we bring both strollers from home? This will be close to impossible given the limited car space.

Should we buy a new (used) triple stroller that will be about $300? I could resell and get some of my money back. But it will still take up a lot of car space.

Should we shell out the $31/day to rent Disney's double stroller? The three kids will fit easily in one double stroller but the cost is outrageous!

Should we rent from a stroller rental company a double or a double and a single? About $150 total for both strollers.

I don't know why I am stressing about this. But it is really bothering me to spend that much money on a stroller.

Thanks for the help!!!!

We drive down from NJ and bring our own single stroller and rent a double Baby Jogger City Mini (usually from Orlando Stroller Rentals, but this last time from Magic Strollers, the Owner's Locker folks). The one we bring is a Baby Jogger City Classic as it's for our oldest who has some physical issues, but in your case you could probably bring the lightest weight (smallest) stroller you have for your youngest and then rent the double for the two older kids.

I have a huge preference for the BJ City Mini over Disney's strollers as they're just so much more comfortable for the kids and a breeze to push even with bigger kids (I could manage my 5 yr old and 3yr old easily in it). Plus, the sun canopies are the best.

So if you can fit a small stroller in the car and just rent a double, you'll only be out around $85 for the week which isn't bad, all things considered. Magic Strollers offers the parent console and rain cover included in the price for their strollers so you may want to compare them to Orlando Stroller Rentals.

ETA - Don't get a triple. That's a lot of weight to be pushing around and they are just so cumbersome. If you've got two adults, go with a single and a double as it's so much easier. With the BJ City Mini you'll be zipping in and out of stores and won't have any problems maneuvering in crowds.

I agree with PP -- go for the rental. We've used orlandostrollerrentals several times and will continue to do so as long as my kids will sit in the stroller! I love the BJ city mini strollers! They'll deliver the stroller to your resort so you will be able to take it from your room to the parks and back again. No tired kids walking from the entrance to the bus stop/car. (this was the best perk for me!)

Personally I would bring my own. I know that my kids like it, and I know how much stuff I can carry in the basket below. I always plan my packing around the stroller. =) We have 5 kids now, but on the trip when we only had three kids, we often had two sitting in the back and one in the front.

Just my 2 cents!
