Any reviews of Fisher Price TRIO toys yet?

My DS, age 4.5, is asking for some of the TRIO building sets for Christmas. They look like a good fit for his age, but I'm not quite sure. Has anyone here tried them yet? I looked on Amazon, but I can't find any sets with reviews yet. Let me know if you have tried these or are getting them for your kids for Christmas!

I bought a small set the otherday. There is a $5.00 coupon floating around and I printed another today. My son likes to build so I am hoping he will liek them. I would like to know too.

My son who will be four at the end of January has the airplane set and he likes it. He does need someone to help him build the actual planes but he can put them together and take them apart by himself. We have bought him a couple of bigger sets for Christmas.

My DS6 received a small set for his birthday last month. He put it together and hasn't looked at it since. That being said, I think they would be more age appropriate for your DS. The set consists of "sticks" and "bricks" that snap together pretty easily.
