Does disney check IDs on all guests in party at check in? - The DIS Discussion Forums

We will be there for free dining. I have two rooms booked as there will be a total of 6 of us going. Does disney check ID's of all guests on the room reservation? I am asking because my brother is 17 and doesn't have a divers license. Will he need to bring something else like a birth certificate to prove his identity before they will give him his ticket?

No, they do not need ID for everyone checking in. When DH and I were there last month, they asked for my ID only because my name was on the reservation.

The only time anyone in my family got asked for ID was my dad at the guard gate for the Contemporary, on our check-in days because we were on a list of those who were checking in that day.
