Need Some Help with Planning - The DIS Discussion Forums

Hi everyone,

We are going to DW at the end of Feb.

Our family arrives on a Thursday and leaves on the following Friday. Our friends arrive on the Sunday

and leave on the following Sunday. Just the way it works out. We will have approximately 4 1/2 days together. We want to fit in as much as possible.

We have been before and it is the first time for our friends. We will spend one day per park..... We will be together 1/2 a day on Sunday and then full days Mon to Thurs.

Any suggestions on how to spend out time? Are there still fireworks everynight at Magic Kingdom and Epcot? Is there one night out of the week where their fireworks are special/different? I know the dates for Early Openings will be available later. Hope we can work that in as well.

I do know that the very first place we will go to is Magic Kingdom for the opening on Monday morning ( we have never been there at park opening). Was thinking of swimming and Downtown Disney or Sunday after they arrive on the Sunday.

We haven't been to DW for quite a few years so we are sure that some things have changed and we just want to be able to do and see as much with our friends. After we leave on the Friday (8am), our friends will have Friday and Saturday to wander around on their own and see what they have missed.

Any suggestions?

No special fireworks. Those are only for hard ticket events like the xmas party. You could go mini golfing on Sunday. We always go on our non park day. It's a blast. The theming is really great.
