Hong Kong Disney -- Halloween looks scary??
just saw a commerical for it idk why but it doesnt seem to follow the Theme of the rest of the Disney parks.. Seems like something six flags would do

To the best of my understanding, Halloween is celebrated very differently in Asian countries than it is over here in the US. That probably has a big part to play with that.

I read something about how they don't understand "funny-scary" or kitschy-scary like we do (MNSSHP). They like their Halloween's SCARY-scary.

My brother and his family literally landed in Hong Kong this morning and are taking their kids, 6 and 4, to this mid-week. I think their kids will be scared to death! They were scared at MNSSHP a couple of years ago and this looks way more intense. I didn't ask him if he checked out the videos before buying the tickets, but I would assume he did. I can't wait to hear his report

I think that's fairly awesome! As much as I love cutesy Halloween, I love the scarier side of it even more. Well, I just love pretty much anything Halloween.
