Is there a "box" at the DL entrance to leave your worries behind?

I read here several times that this does indeed exist? Any info? Thanks!

We've had fun DLR/DCA, we will miss you while we are gone. We took 14 trips from July 07-July 08 and around 16 from Jan 09-Jan 10.

I don't know of an "actual" box but I do know that it's a very magical place and my worries leave as soon as I enter the gates!

Could you imagine all the "stuff" that might end up in such a box if one did exist? I can think of a few things I would drop in there. I definitely wouldn't want to be the CM in charge of cleaning out the box.

I wish I had saved where I found the post. A couple of months ago, a few people posted about this inside other non-related post. One person took her friend to DL who had health trouble and she had the time of her life dropping her stress off at the gates. I have been wanting to ask what or where this stress free box LOL is.

Pretty sure it's a figurative box. Like a PP said, I know when I walk thru the gates my worries seem to fall away.

I think I remember that thread and they were talking figuratively....

Its a very nice idea...I am always more relaxed and stress free when walking through the gates passing through the tunnel. Wish I were going again soon.

Yes, I'm almost certain they were talking figuratively.

While the Disneyland Resort does pride itself on being a place of magic where dreams come true, it has never claimed that it has the ability to physically or mentally heal people.

Universal, on the other hand.....

I'm just saying....

I have always said just outside the Welcome to Walt Disney World sign in Florida there is an emotional dumpster. You leave all your emotional baggage there for safe keeping. Go under the sign and you leave your worries behind.

Your baggage is waiting for you to return home but for the time you are inside......you are free to have a wonderful visit.

Perhaps it's the same at DL.

Watch out for the pixie dust!
