to photo pass or not to photo pass?? - The DIS Discussion Forums

I like the idea, in theory. But, I saw some friends' photo pass photos and thought they looked too staged. It was their honeymoon so maybe with two kids in tow our photos will be different? Also, my Mom and I are both planning to bring our digital SLR cameras so we should get plenty of great shots. Should I pre-order the photo pass CD in hopes that I'll love the photos? It's so expensive....any advice is greatly appreciated. Does anyone have a website of their photo pass so I can look at some samples?

I've sent you a pm, but also, even if you do pre buy the photopass you can get a refund after your trip if you don't like them... not a bad deal that way.

I am experiencing problems trying to pre order the cd... any one have any help?

Apparently they arent doing the prepaid photopass for everyone anymore. We were told yesterday when I called to find out about it that only random people (like pin codes) are getting the codes for them. So, unless you have a code I would expect to pay a lot. We are still hoping for it to come down in price (yeah dream on I know), or to get one of those codes.

I am so mad at myself. I threw out my photopass card with the 40% off code on it for the Halloween pictures. GRRRR.

I've sent you a pm. Photopass is where the Disney photographers take pictures for you. You have a card they scan each time. Then you put your code from the card on your account you make on the site. You can then add different Disney themed embellishments to these pictures and order either just an individual picture or a CD with all of them. The CD is $149, if they send you a code for the pre order you can get it $50 cheaper.
