Flag Family?

Does anyone know anything about the flag family thing? I can't find much info on it.

Has anyone done it?

Are you asking about the flag family ceremony at WL? This is for guests staying at WL, you need to ask if there are openings as soon as you check in. The family is taken to the top of WL and assist with raising the flags at the top of WL and have pictures taken and get a certificate. I have seem the family of the day being taken up there, in the WL lobby you are taken to the 7th floor and there are stairs to a door way up at the top that lets you out on the roof.

I am not aware of another flag family ceremony but I do believe veterans are asked to participate daily at MK for the afternoon flag ceremony.

I didn't know about the one at WL...I was referring to the one at MK...

My husband is in the Army and I wondering if we could participate. But since we will be going before his first deployment(as of now) probably not huh?

it's not flag family it's veterin for a day... you have to go to the town hall on mainstreet i believe as early as possible and ask to be veteren for a day (i believe all that is required is military id). the first person who asks usually gets to do it i believe... you must ask rt when park opens for best odds and then you come back around 5 for your husband to participate in the ceremony and he gets a special pin.
