What is the strangest thing you've seen through someones window??

Inspired by the thread about the nude gentleman in his home getting arrested. What is the strangest thing you've seen through someone's window?

We had just moved into a new rental home, and my then 13 yr old son had a choice of 2 bedrooms. Well all of a sudden my child who never wanted the door shut or the lights off was going to bed early and shutting his door.

I couldn't figure it out......until about a week into living there I was unpacking the last of the boxes in his room one night when I had to scream for my husband. My son had a perfect view from his room into the neighbors sliding glass doors--- well it seemed the neighbor had a nightly ritual of watching porn on his Very Large screen TV. I will admit I started laughing when I put 2 and 2 together. Needless to say my son's room got changed the next day....though in the true spirit of a teen boy we frequently had to chase him out of the room....I bought blinds and heavy curtains and made a point to close them at dusk every night.

Porn, and lots of it. My neighbors across the way at my old apartment had a huge projection TV and when I came home one Thanksgiving night, they were enjoying quite the show. On Thanksgiving, of all days.

I used to live in a high-rise dorm building in NYC with funky windows. My window faced the men's bathroom. I never really opened it more than a few inches because there was no screen and I didn't want the city dirt in my room--so I had never actually looked out of it.

It was really hot one night and in the middle of the night, I gave up and opened it all of the way. The next day as I was getting ready, I realized that the men's bathroom window was cracked just a few inches. However, the inches were right at hip level and the view I accidentally got made me realize that men don't always shave with their skivvies on. I slammed my window shut fast and never opened it again!

A different type of window but one time while I was waiting for the bus a car stopped in front of me for a red light. I noticed the driver had no pants on or if he did, they were down around his ankles. He was alone & he sat there like it was the most natural thing in the world.

I made up little scenarios, one was that he was caught in his married girlfriends bedroom & had to quickly jump out the window when the hubby came home. I guess he had just enough time to grab his keys but not his pants. He must have laid them on the bureau by the window instead of putting them in his pockets. Or maybe he left them dangling in the car ignition.

UGh. We had this one neighbor who was an exhibitionist. Any time I would go on the porch or pull in the driveway (which was directly in front of their bedroom window), he'd get in front of the window and show off... do a little dance, etc.

My DH didn't believe me and thought it was accidental! I was so frustrated and angry with him about it, but then one night we were driving separately and he got home like 30 seconds after me. Just in time to see the show.

I was so glad when they moved out. I'm not sure why I never called the police. I should have.

There are actually three instances that come to mind (unfortunately)!

Driving one evening down the highway with one of my friends, we passed an 18-wheeler. In the drivers side mirror, as we were coming up on it, we could CLEARLY see porn reflecting back at us. He must have had some kind of video playing in his truck and the way it was positioned was blaring back at us.

I once lived in an apartment that was on the 2nd story in college. My bedroom faced out onto the street and there was a house directly across from us. Their bathroom faced my window directly. One night I had some friends over and we were just sitting around in my bedroom. We look out the window, and the girl across the street is in the bathroom getting into the shower. Now, the window was floor to ceiling, blinds open, lights on...and it was night. And she was not a small girl. Not that it would make a difference what size she was...we didn't want to see it, period. I just thought that she must have not realized that she forgot to close the blinds and was embarrassed for her.

Finally, and definitely the most disgusting, I was at a conference for work a couple years ago. My company put about 20 of us up at a Residence Inn, so we were hanging out in the courtyard one night, grilling burgers and just hanging out. One of the girls looked up and yelped. We could see very clearly through one of the windows - there was a man, laying on his bed CLEARLY doing something that NO ONE should have to see. And it went on for A LONG TIME. So disgusting!

Blaaah! This thread is crazy!

When I lived in Boca, I had a jogging route that took me around a nice neighborhood. I loved looking at the houses and palm trees as I ran. There was one time I jogged by a nice house and lo and behold, a naked person inside strolled by the house's large front window right as I was going by (I think it was a woman, but I really only clearly saw the rear view and can't remember the details, thank goodness)!!!

From there on out it was known in my head as "Naked House." Even though it never happened again!! I actually made my boyfriend drive by just to show him Naked House and tell the story.

not odd but I didn't know they sold them. I was dropping my son off at his buddy's house and when i drove out of their cul de sac, a neighbor had the leg lamp from A Christmas Story on their table. I laughed when I saw it, told hubby, drove him by and the next day when i picked my son up I talked with the mom about it. A few days later NPR had a news story about the guy who bought the house and gives tours and sells souvenirs. Apparently you can get a big blow up one for a yard decoration.

Weirdest/most dangerous thing I ever saw in a car window. I was driving back from picking my son up from pre-school and I was approaching an oncoming vehicle. A guy behind the wheel of a minivan had his head cocked with the phone between his shoulder and ear, while eating an ear of corn and picking his nose (full on finger up the nose). I don't know how he kept the car on the road and between his lines. I was glad I was going the other way. I keep thinking about eating corn, I like mine with butter, I can't imagine having to try and grip a steering wheel with buttery fingers.

The only strange thing I saw was my neighbor's grown son getting dressed. I was in my DD's room, and our houses are very close to eachother, and the windows are directly across from eachother. I closed my blinds so fast, and I never open them anymore!!! I didn't tell my DD, in case she wanted to take a peek.

At Disney, no less

OK, first one that jumps to my mind happened in August. We were staying at All Star Movies, first floor, Dalmations. Two mornings in a row, we were walking to the food court to get stuff and in the same room, the same naked grandma was opening her curtains to "check the weather." Why, oh why would you do that? My daughter caught it the first morning....the second I just hustled her on by

Porn does not take holidays.

The weirdest thing I ever saw was a man blowing "zerberts" on his dog's belly. I know that's not TOO weird, I have once or twice done it myself to the little poodle we own, but trust me... it's weird to see.

I haven't seen any naked people. And heaven knows I've been looking.

I once saw a man with a broken leg sitting in his wheelchair looking at me through binoculars from his rear window.
