Photopass Pre-Order CD Update

I was very bummed out when I heard about the pre-order option for photopass being by invitation only. I waited and waited and I am 30 days out and still have not received the email offer. I called Photopass a few days ago and was told that I had to contact Disney Destinations because that is where the email was sent from and they have no way of resending it out. After being on hold and transfered for a long time I was unable to reach anyone at Disney Destinations that knew anything about this. I do not give up easily so I tried calling photopass again just now and........

I explained to her that I am staying on property, booked thru Disney directly, and have no received the email. The lady was very nice and took my name, email address, ressie number, resort, and travel dates. Once she verified my reservation she provided me with a promotion code to get the cd at the $99 after my trip ends. She said that their phones have been ringing off the hook for the past few days with people upset over this. I guess after so many phone calls and emails coming in they finally decided to fix this for us Disney customers. So if you have not received your email invite around the 45th day prior to your trip go ahead and call the photopass phone number, they were very helpful.

I didn't realize this either! I thought it was automatic.

Could you please post that phone number? Thank you, we are about 37 days out and we want to do this.

Thank you

The lengthy 4 hours a day someone is available on this line is annoying. 8-noon CST is it.

Was willing to pay $99... but $149 is terribly overpriced. Hoping the will send offers to annual passholders as well. My general thought is terrible business decision.

Does anyone have the mailing address to send complaints to the Photopass Department?

Our Make a Wish kids are no longer able to buy the CD at the discounted price.

And many of them really need the photopass because they have a lot of magical moments that are captured only by photopass photographers.

I have already sent 2 emails, but they have been no help.

I could call, but they are closed.

I am going to start an email/snail mail and call and complain campaign...but I need their snail mail address.

Thanks!!!

I responded to this in the other thread but I don't blame you for missing it. I've also included the information in the definitive guide to PhotoPass.

Although the offer is in fact limited to on-site resort guests, the fact is that it was always the intent. So there was no change of policy here, just a flip of an inevitable switch.

That said, I have been assured that extraordinary situations, such as those for families staying at GKTW will strongly be considered for discounts upon request, on a per case basis.

If you ever become aware of a family in need whose request is denied, you can let me know and I'll see if I can assist in any way (which isn't promising much, but I will do what I can).
