Should I change resorts?

I know no one can make my decision, but I would like some pros and cons both ways. My dd and I have decided we would like to stay in every resort. Done all values, all mods except POFQ and have done AKL, WL (many time), BC, BCV, VWL. So I got Polynesian for 3 nights with free dining. We have APs but for free dining had to puchase 1 day passes each (will save for next year upgrade). Total $1360. Been trying my best to get room only rates but no go on our dates. Can't change as I have La Nouba tickets.

So found that MEI travel has WL for $207 a night. We love WL in December. So would you trade? I really want to stay at all resorts but I am thinking I sould wait until I can get Poly with FL resident or AP rate. We don't really need dining as I have TIW. So tell me I am doing the right thing in changing.

So difference of about $570 (I don't count the tickets as i use them for next years upgrade but I already have 2 sitting here right now for next year). I'm sure we can eat for less than that with TIW but will we regret not having Poly.

Table seatings reserved for free dining but will have to pay out of pocket:

Kona dinner
SciFi--dd says ok to cancel if we don't have free dining
Earl of Sandwich planned for dinner after la Nouba
Coral Reef Lunch
marrakesh (OOP as it is CP meal anyway)
QS at MK before heading home on last day
We usually have breakfast in the room as I don't eat and she eats when she gets up. We drive so I take breakfast bars and cereal. Last morning we usually do head down and use up any QS credits we have left.

I really want the Polynesian but I do so love WL at Christmas. Saving lots of money too. SIGH.

I would do WL over Poly in December. It is more of the Christmas feel.
I am sure you will have a great time wherever you stay.
The fireplace in the lobby at WL is great.

If you want to save the $$$, then switch to WL. Is there any chance you could stay the 3 nights at WL, then just add an extra night at the Poly, to either the front or back end of your trip - so that you could give the Poly a try. We loved staying there, but we got an amazing rate so I believe that colored our view. I don't know if I would have loved it as much if I paid the rack rate. Maybe you could plan another trip next year and stay Poly when you can get a discount on the room. Good luck planning your trip!
