Got milk?

We are staying at the DL hotel on our next visit. My daughter has to have her whole milk every day as she's still under 2. I know it won't kill her to drink 1 or 2% milk, but I was curious if there is a gift shop or whatever in the DL hotel or a convenience store nearby where I can buy whole milk to store in the room fridge?

I know I can order it from Vons but we really don't need $50 worth of groceries just to get 4 1/2 days worth of milk.

There is a grab & go at the hotel that should have whole milk plus there are a numebr of eateries that should also have it. I did a search on google for "disneyland grocery stores" and found this:
micechat.com/.../84400-grocery-store-near-disneyland.html

There is a store about a mile away. The link had where the stores are and how to get to them. Have a wonderful trip!

if you have trouble finding any in the parks there is a 7-11 if you walk out past the ART shuttle pickup area, turn right and walk a couple blocks.. its not far if you do not have a car. But im sure you will be able to find some somewhere in the resort.

Thanks! We definitely will not have a car and I'm not sure my husband would find it entirely amusing if I sent him on a walk to the grocery store just for milk.

It's not that big a deal, but I figured if I could find whole milk, that is what we'll use. It won't kill the LO to drink 2% for a few days if that is what it comes down to. I know no whole milk is available in the parks.

If your hubby enjoys a cold one,it's a win-win situation. If not, soda always works too.

yeah but the OP is staying at the DLH so it would be completely out of their way to go all the way there...OP you wont have any problems finding milk at the DLH

I don't know if this would work if you are flying (with the air pressure change, and it would have to be checked, etc.) but they do sell shelf stable whole milk in boxes. We're buying some to take with us in the park for my DS under 2. They look just like juice boxes with a straw but they are whole milk. They also sell larger boxes (a quart maybe?) that you could put in your fridge.

We were there last week and ordered from Wonderland Liquor store. They delivered for free to the Disneyland Hotel (thanks to a tip from another poster).
We ordered milk for our daughter plus water, pop, beer for DH and a bottle of wine for me . Took about 20 mins for them arrive, can't beat that!
Their number is (714) 535-0127.

The last time we stayed at the DLH, we bought milk from the Compass Bookstore which is the very 1st store in DTD and right next to the DLH. They have an assortment of coffee and teas for sale in there.

I had ordered Mickey rice krispies (a la carte.....much cheaper that way!) to be sent to our room and refused to pay the outrageous amount for a carafe of milk. We just bought the individual ones at the bookstore and it was much cheaper. I don't know for sure if they have whole milk or not but since you can order coffees & teas in there, it's a good chance that they might!
