Best budget friendly place for exercise clothes

DH is training for a full triathlon and I wanted to surprise him with some new exercise clothes. Talk about sticker shock I am looking for some training shorts, tops, and one of those yellow bike shirts that I see all the cyclist wearing. Any ideas of where to purchase something without breaking the bank?

I really like the C9 line by Champion at Target. Don't know specifically about the yellow shirt, but they have lots of tech tops, pants, underwear, socks, etc., all reasonably priced -- much more so than Dicks or other sporting good stores. C9 is what I've run four marathons, three half marathons and a ton of smaller races in and I've had no problems with chaffing, discomfort, etc.

Thanks for the replies everyone! I ended up ordering from nashbar.

I am still going to look at the C9 line and the discount stores for some extras. I looked at TJMaxx for me about a month ago and they didn't have anything, but I didn't think to look in the men's section at that time.

Wow its very odd to hear someone say they ordered from nashbar's. I grew up riding horses with their daughter Molly. Good people, used to be a small mail order catalog when i knew them, now i am hearing they are a tad bigger lol.

With that said..... we buy all our clothes from the reebok outlets. I can get awesome steals, if you have one nearby go check it out.

As for someone who said the cheaper clothes are fine. There truly is a difference to hubby and I. I am in my workout clothes for 4-5 (maybe longer if i run errands before or after teaching) hours a day. They wash like iron and wear just as well. My fav outfit gets worn atleast twice a week and fits very well even a year later! (i train dogs so i am super hard on my workout clothing. I need it to be sturdy yet comfortable and professional.)
