Flying out of BWI need advice

We live near Dulles and usually fly out of there, but found a great deal on tickets and will be flying out of BWI. We will be staying near the airport the night before and need a cab company for an early morning pickup for the 5 of us. DW DD DS and DB. Any suggestions of someone reliable?

I think "most" of the hotels near there offer shuttle service. I would call the hotel and ask. Probably cheaper and easier than a cab! Good luck!

I know there is a really nice Marriott that is there. I have had a few overnight business meetings there and it is nice. Also across the street is airportfast park. I live in Balt and have used them many times they are like 5 or 6 bucks per night with the online coupon. Great service from them, never waiting for a bus, free water paper! You could find a hotel and drive to the airportfastpark. It should be very short drive since everything there is close to the airport.

I'm not staying at a hotel so that's out unfortunately. Just need a good cab company that shows up on time.

We've used the Airport Shuttle before and they have always been reliable. They have picked us up at 4:30 am before. When you reserve you have the choice of a shared van or a private van. We've always paid for a shared van, but have never actually had to share. We like you have 5 people so they probably don't bother to fill the extra seat or two.

Airport shuttle will show up on time and cost a pretty penny. Just curious why you don't park at the airport? The offsite parking is inexpensive and very secure and great service as mentioned above. My DH travels all the time out of BWI and never has a problem leaving the car.

With Airport Shuttle we have been told we need to share and did have to one time. That is a pain to go to another person's pickup location. IF they do that they will give you an earlier time for pickup usually.
Good luck!

And its funny since we always get better flight costs out of Dulles but just not a lot of good flight times!

Super shuttle will come on time, and is cheaper than a cab, though you will have to share a ride. Also, they come REALLY early. But, it's an option.

BWI is a very nice, easy to navigate airport and you will love it. I fly out of there all the time.

I can also recommend the supershuttle - friends of mine have used it before, when they have stayed with friends to get closer to the airport than where we live in DE........

Have fun!

Airport FastPark is amazing! Thought about staying at a hotel the night before and park there for free but it's about the same to park at FastPark and you dont' have the hassle of packing an overnight bag or pulling from your already packed bags.

Coupon online give you parking for $6.40 a night PLUS they pick you up at your car, load your luggage, give you a bottle of water, newspaper and drop you off at curbside check in! Same in reverse when you get back! Beats waiting for the airport parking lot shuttle which has passed us for over an hour with a over filled bus just to drop you off in the middle of a parking lot and having you schlep your luggage while you try to figure out where you parked!

Do you know about how far this is from the airport? Trying to decide whether this is about the same distance and time then staying at the BWI long term parking lots. Sounds great and convenient but don't want to have to stress about waiting for a shuttle to get us to the airport checkin when trying to catch a plane! Thanks

In my opinion and through our experience, you will wait longer with the airport's parking shuttles. They passed us about 10 times in January one year with a full buss. Waited forever while we shivered!

I can almost guarantee that you will wait less time and with less stress with Airport Fast Park! We won't go any other way! Service, price and convenience can't be beat!

3 days to go!!

I also highly recommend Airportfast park. I have used them about 20 times the past five years and can say nothing bad about the service. Cheap rates reliable even got me a jump when my battery died last Jan on our return trip from WDW!! They were back at my car in 5 min with cables. They are about a 5-10 ride to the airport!

Another vote for Fast Park. I love that they pick you up and drop you off right at your car. We have never had to wait for them to pick us up to go to the airport. We do usually have to wait for them to pick us up to go back to our car, but it's never been more than about 8-10 minutes.
