The "Why can't we all just get along while at the Theme Parks" Thread

There have been an awful lot of negative and complaining threads lately. Why can't we all just get along and go to Disney World like a big happy family?

Is it too much to ask to not shove people out of the way to get on the buses and monorails first.

Do we really need to bring loaded firearms into the parks in order to protect ourselves?(see closed thread on concealed weapons - very scary) It frightens other guests.

Can we not judge people that we see in scooters? We are not Bill Frist (see Terry Schiavo). We cannot diagnose people from afar.

Can we only use tables when we actually have food?

Do we really need to constantly complain about things that are beyond our control? (butt cracks, diaper changing, etc.)

Can't we be polite and have manners while still enjoying our day?(no line skipping, racing to beat a person for the last spot, etc.)

Can't we show common courtesy to pregnant people, handicapped people, etc.?

If we all stand up for change, we will bring about change. Enough!

My thoughts...

I think I just told my 3 boys this exact statement....we leave in 16 days and I'm HOPING they can all just get along!!
Can you really threaten them with taking away Disney????

*I know this post was a general statement for everyone, but it just fit my household SO well!!*

If it were only a perfect world, huh? I agree. When I walk into WDW, I feel so at peace. My hope is that more people can feel that way when they go.

I only wish it would be that easy. Unfortunately, we are dealing with people of all races, creeds and nationalities. If we could there would be no war, hunger, homelessness, or economic failures.

Just look what is going on in society. Being in Disney is no different.

You do realize you are complaining about complaining ?Not gonna happen Sorry, but it is human nature to complain.Even at the most magical place at earth its gonna happen, because humans are there interacting in very large numbers. So you can let it get you down, or ignore it and go about your buisness

I agree so much. We are all on vacation in beautiful Florida at Disney. Let's all be nice.

There are so many terrible things in the world lets all be good and friendly at Disney and try to have a good time for everyone.

I threatened my kids with no Disney if they didn't have all A's and B's on their midterm report. I am taking them out of school and wanted to make sure that they didn't start "Disney Dreaming" early.

BTW...they both had all A's on the midterms. I think they believed me.

I'm not complaining. I'm merely suggesting that if people would make small changes in their behavior, the entire theme park experience could be even more magical. It was more of a hypothetical post. I was trying to say, "Wouldn't it be nice"?

Gee whiz, I'd managed to miss the whole idea of concealed weapons carriers at Disney until I hit this thread.

So, um, thanks for that.

Then again, it's not much longer to reign of the Morlocks anyway.

It would be nice , but it will never happen outside one's own family. I must have missed the firearms thread

You are very welcome. Always glad to pass on a little fear to my fellow theme park enthusiasts.

p.s. - When you speak of the Morlocks, are you referring to the underground mutants that are currently banding together for a major attack on the gun wielding theme park guests that they feel threatened by?
