Watching Fantasmic at 6:30pm. Trying to get to Kouzzina's for dinner. ADR time?

What would you suggest as the earliest, considering we'll be bussing it (unless we have to taxi) to the Boardwalk?

Thanks!

There's no bus between DHS and Boardwalk. The options are walk, or ride the boat. The boat ride takes about 15 to 20 minutes and that's just the ride. You can save a little time getting off the boat at the Swan/Dolphin and walking over. The absolute fastest way is to walk between DHS and Boardwalk but many guests don't want to do that, especially at night (not that the path isn't safe but it bothers some people).

Seeing as Fantasmic takes about a half hour, I'd say ADR should be about 7:30 if you're walking and more like 7:45 to 8 if you want to take the boat. Remember you have to wait for the boat to show up, and with all the guests leaving after Fantasmic, it might take you longer than usual to board one.

Thanks! I guess it'll depend on how we feel. There is an 8:40pm slot that I may take, which would give us time to get over there and look around, as I've never been to that area.

Will there be holiday decor up at the Boardwalk area?

Also, can you cancel reservations online at Disney's website? I need to cancel Brown Derby for earlier that day.

Thanks!!

Yes, you can cancel on line, login then hover on My Vacation (upper right) then click on Dining Reservations. You will need the reservation number and telephone number to call it up.

Not sure when you are going to be there to tell you if the holiday decor will be up, but if Osborne lights are on, then typically the holiday decor is up at the resorts. We are going Jan 1 - 7th and I don't understand why in the world they had to schedule Fantasmic at 6:30pm - right in the middle of prime dining time, it will be hard to eat anywhere and get there on time and if you go to Fantasmic first you will have to really hurry to get to a dining reservation outside the park by 7:30pm.

BTW we stay at the BCV and always walk the path unless the boat is loading and right there waiting when we get near the dock area. If the boats not there walk straight out and turn left and stay on the side walk that goes around the lake area. The path is a little 'dim' but usually we aren't the only ones walking, you can save some time by cutting thru the tennis courts at BW (you will go under the overpass and they are on the right), cut thru and then walk across the parking lot to the front entrance (get on the side walk and stay to the left side of the parking lot and it will take you around to the front door.)
