Question about...Fruit!

Greetings!
My husband and I are huge fruit eaters. Like, big time.
I am wondering if there is a lot of fruit onboard and is it okay quality?
I will probably get a gift basket made up for us so I don't know if I should ask for some fresh fruit in it or not.

I wouldn't bother paying for fruit in your basket as there is plenty on the ship. Goofy's Galley has fresh fruit that they will cut up for you. Fruit is available from many of the buffets, etc. In addition, you can ask for it from room service.

What to expect--pineapple, canteloupe, honeydew melon, grapes, watermelon, blueberries, apples, etc. There used to be an abundance of mangos and papyas, but they have not been as readily available recently.

There's a huge fruit bar set up on Castaway Cay as well.

the fruit is great! We ate it everyday. My DD's dessert every night was a big bowl of strawberries. The list above is pretty accurate. Also bananas are available.

With all the fruit there is onboard, I just don't understand why people actually pay for a fruit basket in their room. Seems like a waste of money to me.

The fruit is great. Others may dream of the chocolate souffle or Palo's in between cruising. Me, I crave the pineapple. I have it every morning with breakfast and plenty of other fruit thoughout the cruise. Like all produce, some is not as great as others but generally it is good and I love that I don't have to slice or peel or anything!

Plenty of fruit aboard - don't waste your money on a fruit basket. I pigged out on the fruit, it was delicious ~ even at Castaway Cay
If sweets are your weakness plenty to chose from!

The fruit is great! But get your fill of bananas early in the week - toward the end of the week, they're b-r-o-w-n!
