If I'm taking nephew along(9 yrs old) on the wonder cruise do I need any consent or any other docs from his parents? Thanks.

When you do your check in docs. there is a form for children traveling who are not your own. the parents fill this out. Really simple.

The required form is available on the web site (under the online check in section, but you can download it at any time). A copy will come in the child's documents. It's a basically simple "nothing" form, but the signature must be notarized. Thus, some people find it easier to not wait till the final documents arrive....you can take care of this at any time that it works for the parents.

Since I take my niece on vacation without here parents many times I have a letter that both her parnets sign and have notarized. The letter basically states that they give me permission to travel outside the staetof wisconsin from this date to this date and I have permission to make all emergency and medical decision until the parents are able to be present. The letter also have some more information in it but after checking with my sis (who is a lawyer) this was suggested in case of problems. Also I had copies of her insurance cards and she also brought her school ID wich had her picture on it and a copy of her birth certifcate in case of emergency.

I downloaded the form from online.. it appears I can put both my kids names and ages and just have one form notorized, can anyone confirm this? tks
