Over the moon excited! GF CL Deluxe King - some questions

After what seems like a million hours online here at the Dis, we have finally booked our 20th Anniversary trip which is less than three weeks away!! Talk about not being able to make a decision..that is me for sure.

We almost went to DW for our honeymoon and looked at the GF for our stay, but we went to Tahiti instead. We did spend our 10 year annivesary at POR (before kiddos) and are now headed back for our 20th just the two of us. (We've been there with our princesses two times, so they are not missing out completely!)

We're going to stay at POR for our first two nights for sentimental reasons and because we like it there, but I'm completely giddy with excitement over booking the last three nights of our trip at GF CL in a Deluxe King. I've searched and searched this site but I am not able to locate any pictures of the views from these rooms. If you have any or have posted some in the past, I'd greatly appreciate your help with a link. Thank you!

My question about the balconies....are they large enough to eat a room service meal out there? Was it comfortable or crowded?

Thanks so much for sharing. If you're reading this and have stayed in this category before and this type of room, I'd love to hear your experience.

Many thanks again!

Congratulations on 20 years and your upcoming stay at the GF! Deluxe king rooms are only located in the main building in RPC. There are 2 types of room. You could either have what is also called a honeymoon room on the second floor (includes a jacuzzi) overlooking the marina with a view of the castle across Seven Seas lagoon. These rooms are on a separate wing above Gasparillas. Some have mentioned the rooms are somewhat inconvenient to the lounge. Or you could have a turret room which are located on the 3rd, 4th and 5th floors with views of the courtyard, monorail or lagoon. The turret rooms do not have a castle view and do not have a balcony. They are huge rooms, though, with a sofa sitting area and floor to ceiling windows. You can request which type room you would like but it is just a request.

Hopefully someone with pics of views from these rooms will come along!

Minniesota: Thanks for the detailed info, it was extremely helpful! I was finally able to find some older threads with pics and room layouts along with some views. I am now more excited than ever!!

Gina: Big congrats!! I hope your honeymoon is all that you've dreamed it would be so far and that another fairytale awaits you on Friday and beyond at the GF!!!

1) We had room to eat on the balcony.
2) It was a little tight, but a thin table and two chairs did fit.
3) The waiter did a nice job of presentation and preparation.
