Another MNSSHP Character Report - with Pictures!!

MNSSHP CHARACTER REPORT - OCTOBER 18, 2009

GOALS:

To see all characters that I did not meet at the party last year and then meet all the characters that ONLY come out at the parties (e.g., Tarzan, Maleficent, etc.).

SKIPPED CHARACTERS/EVENTS:

Pixie Hollow (Tink), Baloo, Tweedles, The Tremaines, and Buzz (who we met before the party).

We also skipped the HalloWishes as I've already seen them and we have plans to watch them next week from Poly.

We did not have time to ride any attractions.

TIME OF EVENTS:

4:00

We arrived at TTC at 4:00, unfortunately the monorails were not running so we had to take the Ferry Boat. We were able to enter MK by 4:15.

4:15

We visited The Pirates League too see my friends.

4:30

We headed over to Tomorrowland to meet Buzz Lightyear (who meets in the same place during the party).


We then went to Main Street to take Photopass photos in front of the castle in our costumes.



5:00

We tried to eat at Columbia Harbor House, but it was already closed for the day so we ate at Cosmic Rays.

5:45

We joined the party at the Castle Hub for Move it, Shake it, Celebrate it Street Party.


6:15

We wandered through Fantasyland and discovered Cinderella's Carriage was already taking Photopass images so we got in line and only waited about 10 minutes.


We tried to Photopass spot at Haunted Mansion to see if they were early as well, but they were not there yet.

6:30

We got in line for Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and we were surprisingly not the first one in line (we were second). The person in front of us was a DISBoards member so we had lots of fun chatting.

6:55

My husband and one of the DISBoard ladies saved my spot and I went with the rest of the DIS family to see Pooh and Eeyore, I was third in line.


7:30

Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs came out about 2 minutes late, but since we were second we were able to fly on through.


7:40

We went to the Villains Mix 'n Mingle and stood at the railing on Stage Left (right side looking at the stage) so that we would be at the front of Maleficent's line.

After the show we met Maleficent, Jafar, Snow Queen, and Cruella deVil. Frollo was not meeting this night and we opted to skip Queen of Hearts and Captain Hook as they meet elsewhere in the park during the party.


8:15

We watched the Headless Horseman fly by at the Castle Hub, then fought the crowd to get to Adventureland.

At the Veranda we met Timon and Jane with Terk. *CANDY STOP*


*We skipped Baloo's line because Jane's looked a little long, but we would have had time to get him*

8:30

We met Abu and Genie near Aloha Isle.

We went back through the Veranda to meet Rafiki, King Louie, and Tarzan with Terk. *CANDY STOP*


We went back to the line for Aladdin and Jasmine, but it looked to long we used the shortcut to Frontierland and went to the Diamond Horseshoe.

We got in line for Jessie, but at 9:00 Woody came out and we were the next family in line so we were first for Woody. *CANDY STOP*


9:00

We went back for Aladdin and Jasmine and met them at about 9:15.


9:20

We got in line for Captain Hook and Mr. Smee. They had to check on the ship at 9:30 and we were second in line once they returned.


They were not playing the HalloWishes music in this area of the park so we could see the fireworks but could not hear them (which is my favorite part).

9:35

After meeting Captain Hook and Mr. Smee we headed to the Pirate Candy. *CANDY STOP*

We then went back to the Diamond Horseshoe for Jessie and Bullseye. There was NO LINE! *CANDY STOP*


I'm not sure why - but we posed with Jessie and Bullseye and it did not show up on my Photopass??

We got into the Liberty Square candy line to meet Captain Decay. *CANDY STOP*


9:55

We headed over to the Dance Party at Ariel's Groto, Donald and Daisy came out at 10:00. *CANDY STOP*

The next 20 minutes was the only wasted time at the

We went to meet the Tremaine family (low priority) but the line looked long, so we tried our luck at the Tomorrowland Dance party (no characters out).

We circled back to Fantasyland and hit the Pooh Candy Stop. *CANDY STOP*

*We passed the Tweedles twice and would have had time to meet them and Tremaines if we skipped a wasted trip to Tomorrowland.*

Since Pooh and Eeyore were still out we found a bench to sit and eat our candy.

We got into line for Tigger and Piglet, but let about 5 families pass us as Pooh and Eeyore were still out.

Tigger and Piglet came out, we were first for them.


We then got in line to meet the Queen of Hearts and White Rabbit next to the Teacups.

We walked over the Fantasyland bridge to the Castle Hub for the Parade - we could not get very close so we watched it from the railing on the bridge. We did see it from the beginning, but missed the Headless Horseman (saw him from the first parade).

Once the villain section went buy (the next and last section was Goofy's Candy Shop) we walked to Toontown.

11:00

We met Minnie at her house.


11:10

We met Cinderella, Prince Charming, Aurora, and Prince Philip in the Judge's Tent.


11:25

We met Alice at the entrance of her Candy Trail.


11:30

We got in line to meet Mickey at his house.


11:40

We went back to Alice's Candy Trail and met the Mad Hatter.



We walked the Candy Trail. *CANDY STOP*

We went back to the Tomorrowland Dance Party and saw Chip, Dale, Goofy, and Stitch.


We hit the Tomorrowland Candy Line. *CANDY STOP*

11:55

We were walking out of the park and boarded the monorail right at midnight.

After getting to the TTC we rode the tram and made it to our car at 12:15.

We hit the road and I got into bed at 12:45.

Why weren't the monorails running? I have heard several people mention that on different days recently.

Great job.. we were there last night too... we had a blast but didn't stop at every character.. we did see Jane from Tarzan.. I will try and post pics soon... I also saw Jasmine and Aladdin out and with Genie and Abu... but we didn't stop... my 7 yr old wanted to do the rides non stop since no lines...

Very nice pictures but what is the gray tube your holding in most the pictures? It has to have a story.

The "lead pipe" is a CLUE to my costume

I'm glad you had so much fun, when we went it rained and all the characters left. We are not going to go back to another Disney party again!

ugh - another reason not to return to MNSSHP. For me it's real simple, have the villains do pics and autographs. Include some of the rarer characters such as the dwarfs (wish they'd break up and sign on characters in bloom or other occasions as well), Mr. Walrus, a few additional villains such as Pain, Panic, Big Bad Wolf, and some others in addition to what is already there. I would fly down in a heartbeat with a few minor adjustments.

So I'm assuming that you are Miss Scarlet and your DH is Prof. Plum. Correct?

YAY!! Some people got it, others had no idea. We didn't want to spend any money on costumes but I had a red dress and he had a purple shirt so it worked. We had the rope, I took a paper towel cardboard center and covered it in duct tape.

I think it was a very creative costume. I like costumes that require some thought to them.
