Funny gift from my DGD.. Another "warm fuzzy" thread..
This weekend was the weekend that my DD and her DH pulled their trailer off my extra lot for the season to take it home and my DGD wanted to give me a little gift to "remember her by" until I head back to their house for the winter.. (Like I'm going to forget her in 2 weeks - right? LOL..
 )Anyhow, it's a small pumpkin that she drew a picture on with a Magic Marker - as well as writing a "message" for me: "Dear Grandma (insert nickname)", Have a good 2 more weeks up here until you come home to our mad house. Even though I will see you the following day anyway, have a great Halloween - and try not to freeze your bones off !!! Love, Hugs, & Kisses, "Me"   Love that kid to pieces!!

Actually I'm doing okay though - the heater is keeping it at 65 degrees right now - I'm not feeling chilly - and so far (knock on wood), no issues with my exposed water pipes freezing.. Didn't say anything to my DGD, "but" - if by chance October 31st rolls around and the weather for the following week isn't worse than this past week (and no major snowstorm on the horizon), I might even try to squeeze out one more week...
